In the U.S., more than 130,000 people die from coronaviruses and there are nearly three million infections

The United States recorded more than 130,000 coronavirus deaths and nearly three million infections on Monday, reflecting a recovery in cases that have raised criticism of President Donald Trump’s response to the pandemic.

Johns Hopkins University has stated on its website that the North American country has registered 130,007 deaths so far, twice as many as the second country with the most deaths from the virus, Brazil, which is currently nearly 65,000 dead.

It also said that the United States has so far confirmed almost 2.9 million infections worldwide out of a total of almost 11.5 million – Brazil, the second most affected country, has registered 1.6 million – during this time, 906,763 people have Country recovered from a total of just over 6.2 million people worldwide.
