In Spain, BitcoinPYME has focused on physical outlets and offers help for SMEs to integrate into the world of cryptocurrencies. This was reported through a statement by the Cointelegraph company in Spanish.
As they explained, the initiative was created by its founder, Joaquín Cordero, who lived in Australia and found that there were already a large number of institutions that accepted cryptocurrencies.
“With the payment systems that work in bitcoinPYME, any physical company can install a payment system in bitcoins and offer it to its customers,” they stated.
“One of the main advantages is that the owner (the SME) does not have to store the amount in bitcoin once the currency exchange is done and the customer’s payment is received in euros. That way, it does not accept the volatility of bitcoin, they added.
Joaquín Cordero expressed:
“We want to bring the world of cryptocurrencies closer to small and medium-sized companies while demonstrating transparency, speed, low costs and efficiency.”
