Three young men, including a minor, were murdered on a farm in rural Colombia’s Antioquia department in northwestern Colombia in a new massacre that authorities attributed to suspected drug traffickers.
As reported by the Colombian Security Forces, “it was reported through a phone call to the Farallones Police Substation that several shots were heard at the Tumaco farm.”
“Police personnel traveled to the site of the events and made contact with relatives living there, who said that several hooded armed people came in and shot at the victims,” the police report said, according to the RCN chain. .
The deceased were identified as farmer Arlex James Rodríguez Mora (27), student Gilberto Alejandro Potes Valois (19) and Alexis Ospina Cruz (14).
This is the second Antioquia massacre in less than a week after three young people aged 17, 18 and 19 were killed by armed men who entered a house in the municipality of Venice last Sunday.
