HRW calls for “everything possible” to be done to avoid an outbreak of violence after the presidential elections in Côte d’Ivoire

Human Rights Watch (HRW), a non-governmental organization, this Friday called for the Ivory Coast authorities to “do everything possible” to avoid a new outbreak of violence following this Saturday’s elections, marked by mounting tensions over the US President Alassane Ouattara’s decision to seek a third term.
