The National Risk Management System (SINAGER) of Honduras announced this Sunday that the “red warning” for the country’s 18 departments will continue until May 17 after Covid-19 has registered a new upswing in positive cases the past few hours, the Number rises to 1,830 infections and 108 deaths.
At the request of the Ministry of Health, SINAGER will continue “with the approval of temporary isolation centers” and “with the distribution of material for the supply of the hospital network and the delivery of food in the most vulnerable houses”, as your statement emphasizes.
“The general population is reminded that antibacterial masks and gels must be used in commercial measures. Supermarkets, pharmacies, petrol stations, hardware stores and banks are not allowed to allow citizens who do not comply with the biosecurity measures to enter,” added the text .
SINAGER also reminded that failure to comply with the measures may result in “administrative, civil and criminal liability”, regardless of whether it is natural or legal persons.
