Honduras extends the curfew until July 26 as the spread of the coronavirus increases

Honduras has extended the curfew reported by the coronavirus pandemic until July 26, as the number of infections has increased by more than a thousand in the past 24 hours.

According to the National Risk Management System (SINAGER) there were 1,042 new cases and nine other deaths in these 24 hours, a total of 33,835 infected and 900 deaths.

The security secretariat has announced that the curfew that has been in effect at the national level since March 14, according to the Honduran newspaper “El Heraldo”, will remain in force at least until July 26.

The curfew implies that Hondurans can only go out a few hours a day to stock up on basic products and on the days specified, depending on the last ID card number, while weekend departures are limited to those who behave safely.
