Greece announced a series of restrictive measures this Saturday, given the steady increase in coronavirus infections after de-escalation, including the mandatory use of the mask.
Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias, has announced that the mask will be mandatory in all closed public places as of Saturday, while strongly recommending that it be used outdoors.
In addition, it was noted that visits to nursing homes and hospitals are prohibited until August 15, that weddings and christenings are not permitted to visit more than 100 people by August 31 and that only customers may be sitting in night clubs they keep the social distance at least between August 3rd and 9th.
Regarding the country’s external links, Hardalias has indicated that flight routes to Turkey, Albania and Northern Macedonia will be suspended until August 15 and restrictions on the arrival of tourist boats in Greek ports will continue until August 15. August.
