All of this led to an increase in Google searches for businesses run by blacks without being able to find direct answers from the server.

For this reason, Google has decided to announce a number of modalities and initiatives to support all entrepreneurs and traders who are part of the black community and to provide them with IDs with which they identify their company Obsessed with black.

“With this attribute, our goal is to make search and maps more comprehensive and to help black-owned businesses when they need it most,” Google said in a blog post.

This is not the first time Google has made this type of inclusion since attributes were introduced in 2018 that support women and promote spaces LGBT friendly.

This new attribute is already active in the United States. However, it is not yet known whether it will be available in other countries.
