Who is using Internet Explorer at this point in life? We certainly don’t know a lot of people who do that. In the end Microsoft announced that the browser will be completely gone in 2022.
In a blog post, the tech company reported that “the Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will be retired and will no longer be supported for certain versions of Windows 10 on June 15, 2022”.
The company founded by Bill Gates stopped supporting Internet Explorer 11 in its Microsoft 365 services last year and now says they are in the second phase, giving way to Microsoft Edge.

Likewise, the brand stated that Microsoft Edge offers a faster, safer, more modern browsing experience and is compatible with old and older websites and applications because it has built-in IE mode.
“With Microsoft Edge, we are offering a path into the future of the web while respecting the web’s past. The change was necessary, but we didn’t want to leave trusted websites and applications that were still working, ”the company said.
