The return to the offices is just around the corner but if you are a business owner you are sure to wonder how to safely do it to keep all of your employees safe.

Incode Technologies, provider of secure biometric identity solutions, announced the launch of in Mexico Incode HealthID. It’s a ploy by a digital health review platform designed to help businesses safely return to the new normal by introducing and applying preventive measures against COVID-19 in the workplace.

To help SMBs, Incode Technologies also announced that Incode HealthID will be available for free in companies with fewer than 50 employees.

The platform focuses on privacy protection based on user consent. It uses biometric identity technology with a security grade for banks to ensure that employees are continuously following preventive measures and significantly and effectively reduce the risk of COVID-19.

Protect your employees’ privacy

“To have safe and healthy workplaces, the way companies monitor the health of their employees and adhere to safety guidelines must fundamentally change,” said Ricardo Amper, CEO and founder of Incode. “The new standard requires not only discipline but also technology to automate the review process while protecting employees’ right to privacy,” he said.

Incode HealthID tracks compliance with preventive measures, including daily symptom and temperature checks, use of face masks, hand sanitization, and the creation of a digital HealthID certificate based on clinical laboratory tests to determine if the person is negative for COVID-19 or contracted antibodies have developed.

These regulations help reduce the risk of companies, branches and factories being closed by enabling companies to identify contagion risks early on.

Returning to the new normal will be a challenge for several Mexican industries and economic sectors that cannot get out of tight spots, especially manufacturing, which employs more than 4 million 146,000 people, according to INEGI.

The development of the application takes into account the guidelines and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the US, and the protocols proposed by the SSA and STPS in Mexico. In addition, it is based on probabilistic epidemiological models as well as research results and a group of renowned epidemiologists, researchers and specialists on the subject.

The main advantages of Incode Health ID are:

Test certification: Incode HealthID automatically imports and reviews clinical COVID-19 laboratory tests and creates bank-quality digital certificates that can be shared with the employer with the user’s consent.

Continuous status monitoring and alerting: Incode HealthID tracks the health of employees and alerts individual employees when they need to test and / or renew their health certificate, as well as employers when an employee is showing symptoms or may have contracted the virus.

Contactless verification: Incode HealthID identifies health status, temperature, and compliance with all policies and protocols using a personal QR code and facial recognition technology on HealthID mobile devices and kiosks in companies, eliminating physical contact.

Latest technology: Incode HealthID uses the same technology that financial institutions use to verify identity using facial biometrics.

By integrating Incode HealthID, companies can provide a safe return and environment for all employees and focus on restoring their operations.
