Germany has registered 745 infections and 57 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This corresponds to a slight reduction in the daily number of pandemics, which, according to the latest state of the Robert Koch Institute, results in a total of more than 176,000 infected people and more than 8,100 deaths from the Federal Authority for the Monitoring of Infectious Diseases.

These new figures are less than the 797 infections and the 83 deceased that were recorded in Germany’s balance sheet on Wednesday. The pandemic leaves a total of 176,752 infected and 8,147 deaths in the country.

By federal state, Bavaria remains the most affected with 45,929 infections and 2,348 deaths, followed by North Rhine-Westphalia (36,912 positive and 1,546 deaths) and Baden-Württemberg (34,175 infections and 1,680 deaths). The capital Berlin registered 6,555 cases and 186 deaths.

This new balance of the corona virus comes days after the opening of restaurants and hotels in the country. The hotels in the cities of Hamburg and Bremen were reopened on Monday for local tourists as well as in the regions of North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate in the west and Saxony and Thuringia in the east.

The hotels in Mecklenburg Western Pomeria on the Baltic Sea coast have been reopened, but only to welcome the residents of this country, and will not accept tourists from other regions until May 25th. Berlin and the southern Bavarian state are about to reopen the hotels.
