The new coronavirus pandemic has left 684 new cases and six deaths in Germany in the past 24 hours, compared to 633 infections and six deaths the previous day, totaling more than 206,000 infected and more than 9,100 deaths. As reported on Wednesday by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the government agency responsible for fighting infectious diseases.
The RKI has shown in detail that the remaining 684 new cases and six deaths are 206,926 infected people and 9,128 deaths.
In recovery, around 191,300 people managed to overcome COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus, including 500 who had been discharged in the last 24 hours.
Bavaria remains the most affected by the pandemic with 50,696 infected and 2,621 deaths, followed by North Rhine-Westphalia with 47,965 cases and 1,730 deaths and Baden-Württemberg with 37,038 patients and 1,843 deaths. Berlin has 9,071 infected and 223 deaths.
