Germany registered 239 new cases of coronavirus this Sunday, down from 422 on Saturday and two more deaths (yesterday by seven), for a total of 9,012 deaths.
A total of 196,335 people across the country have been infected with the virus since the pandemic was declared. This emerges from the new balance sheet of the Robert Koch Institute, the German government agency responsible for combating and monitoring infectious diseases.
The balance confirms that after 300 new discharges, around 181,700 people have recovered from the disease in the past few hours.
For another week, Bavaria is the most affected German state with 48,655 infections and 2,600 deaths, although the population has not registered any infections or deaths in the past few hours.
