Germany exceeds 13,500 new cases and is increasing again

Germany registered more than 13,500 cases of coronavirus this Sunday, a number the same as the previous day but represents a further increase in the incidence rate of the virus, which has already exceeded 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days.

The country collects 2,659,516 cases of COVID-19, 13,733 more than on Saturday, according to the Robert Koch Institute, which is responsible for combating infectious diseases in Germany. At least 74,664 patients have died, 99 more than the previous day.

The above-mentioned incidence rate is 103.9 cases per hundred inhabitants per week; Almost four points more than on Saturday.

One must remember that Germany has not registered an incidence of more than 90 since the beginning of February and in some regions already over a hundred cases per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days. In Thuringia, the weekly incidence is 210 cases per 100,000.

In the meantime, the country has already rescued more than 2.4 million people in the layoffs section, after around 5,600 people had overcome the disease since the previous day.

The federal government agreed on March 3 to extend detention in the country until March 28 to counter the coronavirus, despite the fact that authorities agreed on a progressive opening strategy.
