Take pills? Get up early? There are rest practices that simply do not work or are not for everyone.
The opinions expressed by collaborators are personal.
The reality : you must associate your bed and your room with a place of rest, not torture. If you wake up and can't go back to sleep in the next 20 minutes, it is best to get up and go to another room.
Try to keep this place dark or very dim and avoid activities that require you to turn on the light (such as reading a book or checking your cell phone). Better, do some light stretching, pray, or meditate. Once you feel a little sleepy, go back to your room and try to sleep again.
