  • The call is open from September 14th to December 14th, 2020. Young people between the ages of 13 and 24 can participate.

Foundation E., invites Mexicans between the ages of 13 and 24 until December 14, 2020 Participation in the 2020 World Innovation Series organized by the Education network for entrepreneurship ((NFTE, for its acronym in English), presented in Mexico by Mary Kay cosmetics.

This global competition invites young people to submit innovative ideas that will help promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of United Nations (UN) on the 2030 agenda.

The challenge categories are:

Objective: To develop a product, service or initiative capable of creating a circular economy that encourages the reuse of uniforms or used clothing, thereby reducing landfill waste and gas emissions caused by the decomposition of textiles.

Objective: To develop a product, service or initiative to protect vulnerable communities that are at high risk due to the effects of climate change and other disasters.

Objective: To develop a solution that allows food banks to improve their access to healthy local food.

Objective: Conception of initiatives to help communities, governments or companies to achieve racial justice in education.

Goal: Empower communities and schools to accelerate the transition to clean energy.

Objective: To help “non-banks” make and receive payments, improve financial access.

Objective: To increase the income of those hardest hit by the COVID-19 economic crisis.

Goal: Empower people and communities to take action against climate change.

Objective: To promote progress with equal justice and to create stronger institutions for all.

This global program is funded in Mexico by Fundación E and Mary Kay. You must be between 13 and 24 years old to participate. You can do this by visiting the Fundación E official website by December 14, 2020. The teams can be affiliated with schools, organizations, or independent.

The top three ideas submitted in each challenge category will receive cash awards given by the various companies that support the initiative. “The amounts will be published in the call.” First place gets $ 1,500, the one who finishes in second place gets $ 600, and third place gets $ 300.
