The French Ministry of Health this Tuesday reported the deaths of an additional 250 people from the disease, of which 19,791 cases have been diagnosed in the past 24 hours, which have accumulated 5,800,170 and 106,935 deaths from the disease since March 2020.
According to the latest health authorities bulletin, 25,028 people have been admitted with symptoms of the coronavirus, of whom 1,239 are new patients. In the intensive care units, however, 4,743 seriously ill patients are occupied, which corresponds to an increase of 285 compared to the previous day.
Regarding the vaccination campaign, the French health system has highlighted that more than 18.5 million people have already received at least one of the two doses required for immunization against the coronavirus, representing 27.6 percent of the total population.
Among those vaccinated, more than 8.2 million people received both doses, around 12.3 percent of the population. Another 657,300 were injected in the past 24 hours, a new daily record.
