France returns and reports no data on coronavirus deaths for the third year in a row

The bulletin released this Monday by the French Government’s Health Directorate-General no longer contains data on the deceased and relates to Tuesday’s communication. On Sunday, this data was already sent on Monday.

“As regards mortality, French health authority data will not be available until tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26,” the official bulletin ends.

Instead, the note collects data on infections: 342 coronavirus new admissions for a total of 16,798 hospital residents, more than 2,000 fewer than a week ago. There are 1,609 coronavirus intensive care patients, almost 300 fewer than seven days ago.

A total of 100,615 people tested positive for coronavirus and have been hospitalized in France since the epidemic began, 17,770 of them in the intensive care unit. A total of 65,199 people were released during these weeks.
