There are 12,315 people in the hospital – 146 fewer than on Sunday – 1,024 of them in the intensive care unit, which means that 29 beds are more free than on Sunday.

France began the second phase of the lifting of restrictions last week after an unprecedented period of detention between March 17 and May 11, after which the epidemic is “largely controlled in France”, said the President of the Gallic Science Council, Jean-François Delfraissy .
