France registers its third maximum daily data of COVID-19 cases, surpassing 400,000 infections and 31,000 deaths

The French authorities confirmed the third maximum daily number of coronavirus cases this Wednesday at nearly 10,000, saying the country has broken the barriers of 400,000 infections and 31,000 deaths since the pandemic began.

According to French Public Health, there have been 9,784 infections and 46 deaths in the last 24 hours for a total of 404,888 and 31,045, respectively. The number of cases far exceeds the 7,852 recorded during the day on Tuesday.

He also stated that the number of patients admitted to resuscitation units continues to increase, with 508 admissions in the last seven days, including 29 in the last day, while there are a total of 862 active outbreaks in the country.

The agency has indicated that 84 departments are currently in a state of “moderate or high” vulnerability amid the sharp increase in infections and deaths in recent weeks.
