The French government announced on Saturday that it will be able to reopen cinemas, holiday hotels and casinos from Monday, while the stadiums will have to wait until July 11th with a 5,000 person limit.
The government issued a statement after a meeting of the Defense and National Security Council stating that the reopening will be “in accordance with strict health standards”.
“The improvement in the health situation enables certain bans to be lifted if everyone takes a watchful attitude towards the epidemic,” emphasizes the text.
The government also approved the resumption of collective sports activities on Monday “with appropriate preventive measures”. In addition, the stadiums and running tracks will be open to the public again on July 11 with a maximum of 5,000 spectators.
