France keeps coronavirus deaths low, 57 in the last 24 hours

The French government has reported 57 coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours, keeping mortality from the new disease low in the country. A total of 18,444 deaths were registered.

In addition, the Ministry of Health reminded that the virus is still active despite the easing of restrictions, and indicates that 14,380 people are in the hospital. After 36 layoffs and 29 admissions in the past 24 hours, 1,325 people are in serious condition.

Since the onset of the epidemic, 101,593 cases have been compared, 17,933 of whom are in intensive care and 68,268 patients have been discharged.

Four regions, Ile-de-France, Greater East, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Hautes-de-France, account for 73 percent of hospitalizations.
