The French authorities reported on Monday that they are investigating a total of 127 coronavirus outbreaks nationwide and have reported 27 deaths from the new disease in the past three days.
There have been 324 outbreaks of “grouped cases” since May 9, three of which have been discovered in the last 24 hours. In addition, 197 are considered “closed”.
Monday’s bulletin, which contains data from Friday, contains 168,335 confirmed cases and a total of 29,920 deaths. In addition, 7,850 people are in hospital due to COVID-19 and 548 in intensive care, 25 fewer than on Friday. Up to 77,319 people were released.
Four regions – Ile-de-France, Grand East, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Hautes-de-France – concentrate 74 percent of hospital patients on the intensive care unit.
