The authorities explained that consumers should be informed of the risk of this update. The lack of warning by the company of the apple constitutes a deceptive commercial practice by omission by which the economic sanction and the publication of a communiqué were decided.

The lawsuit was imposed after the complaint of different users for the damage of their cell phones. The previously named computers were affected by versions 11.2 and 12.2.1 of the iOS operating system.

Given this situation Apple chose to apologize and comply with the sanctions imposed by the authorities.
