France exceeds the threshold of 25,000 deaths after the death of 306 people on the last day

The French government confirmed this Monday that the balance of deaths from the coronavirus pandemic has exceeded the 25,000 mark after 306 people have died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.

The French Ministry of Health said in a statement that 306 deaths occurred in hospitals and nursing homes in the country on the last day, increasing the total number of deaths to 25,201.

It was also stated that 25,548 people were hospitalized for the illness, 267 fewer than the previous day, although 699 new admissions were made during this period. A total of 93,372 people have been admitted since the pandemic began, of which 51,371 have already been released.

With this in mind, the ministry has detailed that a total of 3,696 patients are currently on resuscitation services, including 84 who entered on the last day, although the downward trend is confirmed with a total of 207 left them during this time.
