France confirms around 1,400 new cases and is investigating a further 20 outbreaks of coronaviruses

The French government confirmed around 1,400 new cases of coronavirus this Friday, saying it is investigating a further 20 outbreaks that have been identified in the past 24 hours as an increase in infections in the European country.

The French Ministry of Health said in a statement published on its website that 1,346 cases and 11 deaths were registered on the last day, for a total of 187,919 and 30,265, respectively.

It was also reported that 5,298 people are currently hospitalized for COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, including 371 in resuscitation services, ten more than the previous day.

On the other hand, it has shown that the total number of outbreaks is 157, including 20 that were found on the last day, and stressed that the population must take preventive measures to prevent the virus from spreading further.
