The French government has announced that it will reimburse the cost of PCR tests performed by the population to determine if they are infected with coronaviruses, given the drastic increase in cases in the European country.
“I signed an order released this Saturday that will allow the population to benefit from full reimbursement of the PCR tests today without the need for a prescription or symptoms,” said French Health Minister Olivier Véran.
Véran warned: “For a few days now, the number of positive cases has increased net after thirteen weeks of decline.” “Today we are at the same daily level as when the detention ended,” he said.
For this reason, the Minister has highlighted the possibility of restricting the most affected areas. “The opening of facilities could be restricted if necessary. This is part of the possibilities (which are being considered),” he said.
