Former Prime Minister of Ukraine, in serious condition due to coronavirus

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister and now chairman of the Batkivschina Party’s parliamentary assembly, Yulia Tymoshenko, is in serious condition after being infected with coronavirus, her spokeswoman Marina Soroka confirmed on Sunday.

“Unfortunately it is true. He tested positive for Covid-19. His condition is classified as severe, with a fever of up to 39 ° C. He has problems,” said Soroka in a statement posted on his Facebook page and was published by the official Russian news agency RIA Novosti.

59-year-old Yulia Tymoshenko presided over the Ukrainian cabinet twice: between February and September 2005 and from December 2007 to March 2010.
