Former Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli (2009-2014) has informed the Special Prosecutor for Anti-Corruption that his medical inability, to which he sought refuge in order not to provide a statement on the “New Business” corruption case, would be avoided in the case ‘ Odebrecht ‘to testify.
Martinelli, who is accused of using public funds to buy Editora Panamá América SA (EPASA) in the “New Business” case, should have appeared before the prosecutor last Thursday, but he did not do so by going into a ” Covered by his cardiologist’s certificate of inability to work declares him unable to work between 1st and 3rd July.
