Former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff (2011-2016) was admitted to a hospital in the city of Porto Alegre in the south of the country this Monday evening after feeling uncomfortable at a video conference for the Brazilian press.
Rousseff went through a series of tests and analyzes throughout the night and I am scheduled to leave Moinhos do Vento hospital this Tuesday, reports the O Globo newspaper.
After the virtual meeting, Miguel Rossetto, who, among other things, held the portfolios for labor and rural development during the Rousseff government, approached their house and from there they decided to go to the hospital to do some tests and clarify that this was nothing important. says the Workers’ Party (PT) in a statement.
“She is still under observation. She did the tests and the results were good,” concludes the PT’s letter.
Rousseff, who has not held a public office since he suddenly left office for impeachment for violating budgetary laws, was very active during the pandemic, taking part in virtual encounters with the press, supporters and the game.
