August 27 at 11 a.m. (GMT -5) Three international speakers will analyze the possibilities for fintech entrepreneurs and find out about solutions in connection with the gig economy from three emerging startups. This was reported in Spanish by Finnovista in Mexico to Cointelegraph.
“”Professionals in the gig economy have financial needs that are very different from those of a freelancer or an employee. The irregularity of income, access to credit for certain investments and the need for more innovative savings formulas are some of the most pressing needs of this group, ”they said in a statement.
According to a recent report released by Flourish Ventures, 90% of professionals in the gig economy in Brazil have cut their incomes due to the decline in economic activity due to the pandemic.
Although there are already some examples of solutions, Finnovista pointed out that there are still numerous options for players in the fintech ecosystem to meet their needs.
