Ethiopia confirms about 350 new cases of coronavirus, exceeding 9,000 infections

The Ethiopian government confirmed around 350 new cases of coronavirus this Friday that have helped the African country break the barrier of 9,000 infections since the pandemic started.

The Ethiopian Ministry of Health has said 344 cases and 13 deaths have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, a total of 9,147 and 163 respectively, according to the Ethiopian television company Fana.

It was also stated that during this period 86 people had passed COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, so that the total number of discharged patients is 4,900 to date.
