On Saturday, November 7th, Ethereum Bogotá invites you to give a talk about DAOs. There will be an introduction to the topic with María Gómez, Product and Strategy Manager at Aragon.org. This is complemented by a conversation with José Torres, director of the Bogotá Legal Hackers chapter. This was reported to Cointelegraph en Español by the organizers.
The aim is to meet to understand the use cases of DAOs and their relationship to the legal system.
In the first part they will explain what a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) under the leadership of María Gómez is. She will also introduce the latest developments from Aragon, one of the pioneering Ethereum projects in this technology.
The lawyer commented, “I want to explain what a DAO is and what use cases we’re seeing today. I also want to show real-world examples of how certain crypto projects are currently being used.”
To complement and enrich the conversation, José Torres, partner at Lexia Abogados, will be asking questions from his legal, technology and innovation experience.
“We are very happy that the Legal Hackers community is working with Ethereum Bogotá. We love the crypto problem. That’s why we want to hold more events together. We want the entire Legal Hackers community to be a home to continue learning “, he said.
The virtual event covers some topics like:
– Why are DAOs relevant for the Latin American context?
– Are DAOs a substitute for courts in the blockchain?
– How do decentralized organizations adapt to the legal system?
The meetup will last an hour and a half, first there will be a presentation and then the microphone will be opened for public questions to add to the discussion.
