Emirates exceeds 60,000 coronavirus cases after adding more than 300 in a day

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) exceeded 60,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus on Thursday and added more than 300 cases in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reports.

In these 24 hours, 302 new cases and two more deaths were identified, which is why there are already 60,223 infected and 349 fatal victims of COVID-19 in the country. In addition, 53,626 people have recovered.

The Emirates have also made it clear that most health centers dedicated to combating the pandemic will remain open during the Muslim Eid al Adha holiday, which is celebrated this weekend.
