Almost 88,000 people in Ecuador are already infected with COVID-19 after nearly a thousand more new infections have been confirmed in the last 24 hours. This emerges from the latest balance offered by the country’s Ministry of Health.
In particular, the Ecuadorian health authorities confirmed 922 new cases of coronavirus this Tuesday, which have increased the global balance of the Latin American country to 87,963. Similarly, 5,808 people have died of COVID-19 in the country.
According to provinces, Guayas remains the most affected by the pandemic in Ecuador with a total of 17,629 infections. Behind her are Pichincha with 15,191 and Manabí with 6,734.
In addition, the Ecuadorian Ministry of Health has highlighted that 11,641 people have been discharged from the hospital in the Latin American country, while 831 people are in stable condition and 359 are admitted to the hospital with a reserved prognosis. A total of 59,344 people in Ecuador managed to recover from COVID-19.
