The date on which you have to make your annual declaration is approaching and the Tax Administration System (SAT) presented a simulator for individuals that will help taxpayers know the income, expenses and withholdings that were preloaded and that the agency is considering for the determination of the ISR in its annual statement.

Natural persons must submit their annual return during the month of April and, in case of obtaining a favorable balance, they may obtain their return within 3 to 5 days.

In a statement, to the Taxpayer Defense Office (Prodecon), he indicated that, if the simulator shows a balance in favor, so that it can be requested to be returned at the time of filing the declaration, it is necessary to have the password if it is that the balance does not exceed 10 thousand pesos.

If the balance ranges between 10,000 and 150,000 pesos , in addition to the password, the default interbank CLABE must be selected in the system; and if the balance in favor exceeds 150 thousand, the use of the e-signature is essential.

In addition, the agency emphasizes that if any income obtained in 2019 is unknown or no deduction is being considered in the pre-filled annual return, taxpayers can go to Prodecon in any of the 30 delegations within the Republic, as well as in its headquarters in Mexico City; by phone at 55 12 05 90 00 or 800 611 0190, free of charge, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Those obliged to file the Annual Declaration are natural persons who have obtained income, among others, for the following concepts :

• Wages, salaries and similar

• Business activity and Professional Services (Fees)

• Agricultural, livestock, forestry and fishing activities

• Leasing

• Disposal of assets

• Disposal of shares in the stock market

• Acquisition of goods Articles

• Interests

• Awards

• Dividends
