The hours went by slowly and I couldn't close my eyes. The night was eternal. From the age of five, Franco Canseco could not sleep. But I didn't want to do it either. He preferred to be awake to invent futuristic artifacts such as a robotic spine, an artificial heart and a solar desalination plant. Therefore, on his sleepless nights he came up with the idea of inventing a device that would help people not sleep.
“However, I did a lot of research to find out if it was important to sleep or if my mind was fine, and I realized that I couldn't invent something to not sleep; rather, I had to create something to make it better, ”says Franco, who is 11 years old today.
Thus was born his most successful invention, which will begin selling in 2020: a neutral band, which people put on their faces for eight minutes to receive stimuli through four elements, relax and fall asleep, without taking medication.
