For this reason, the vodka-producing company “Tito's” recommended not to manufacture antibacterial gel with its product. The company responded to a Twitter user who claimed to have disinfected his hands with this product.

“According to the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), the hand sanitizer must contain at least 60% alcohol. Tito's handmade vodka has 40% alcohol and, therefore, does not meet the current CDC recommendation. Please see attached for more information. ”
