LVMH will use its perfume and cosmetic plants to create disinfecting gel.

United against the coronavirus. LVMH , parent company of brands like Christian Dior , Givenchy and Guerlain , confirmed that it will use the plants in its cosmetics and perfumes to make antibacterial gel.
The group owned by Bernard Arnault , said in a statement that as of Monday, March 16, its perfume and cosmetic production units will manufacture disinfectant gel in large quantities.
With this action LVMH intends to help prevent the risk of the lack of this product in France, as well as allowing more people to adopt good habits to protect themselves from the spread of the virus.
According to the group, the initiative will continue for as long as necessary and in coordination with the health authorities.
