Diageo, a leader in high quality alcoholic beverages, through its brand Buchanans and in connection with Win147 (the first business school for women in Mexico) has begun registration for its program Buchanan’s Game Changers Academy with the aim of promoting and creating new opportunities for the development of companies led by women in the hotel industry in Mexico. This initiative benefits 40 women entrepreneurs in the industry with grants of up to 80 percent to complete a virtual training program to accelerate their business.
The launch program is aimed at women who want to implement a solid and sustainable growth strategy. is taught online and supplemented by a Workshop supported by specialists in the hotel industry. The main focus is on challenging women entrepreneurs to do their best to change the rules of the game through expert mentoring and the use of tools and methods that provide structure, efficiency and profitability to participating companies.
To be candidates for the Game Changers Academy in Buchanan, which begins in 2021, interested entrepreneurs must run or be a partner in a hospitality business (including bars, restaurants, cafes, inns, etc.). live in the Mexican Republic; Bill at least 50,000 pesos per year; and have an availability of five hours per week for 14 consecutive weeks according to their own times.
Interested parties must fill out an online form, accompanied by a video, no longer than 60 seconds, explaining their interest and the reasons for participating in this initiative. The call is open until Sunday, December 20, 2020.
