The case that has been capturing the crypto community for several years may finally be resolved. On the 1st of May Judge Bloom, who heads the case, issued a court order to start the trial on July 6.. More important is, The lawyers of both parties confirmed that they did not want to file an application that could delay the process. and they eagerly await the opportunity to prove their case in court.

The word war between the legal teams

Dr.’s lawyer Wright, Andrés Rivero, told Cointelegraph that his client always wanted to ascertain the truth in court. and there will be no late movements on your part:

“It is always possible that cases can be delayed, applications can be more requests from the plaintiffs […] But we resisted all delays and always wanted to go to court. The plaintiffs would have to prove that there was an oral agreement that 50% of everything Dr. Wright did for the rest of his life, owned by Mr. Kleiman. “

According to Rivero, Kleiman was a dear friend of Dr. Wright. However, this did not entitle him to half of Wright’s Bitcoins (BTC).

In a statement on Cointelegraph, Velvel Freedman of Roche Cyrulnik Freedman LLP, the company that represents Ira Kleiman, called these claims “absurd”.::

“Any comment that the plaintiffs are responsible for delaying the trial date is preposterous. As Judge Bloom stated on January 10, 2020,” Craig’s antics and behavior delayed the discovery process in this case. wasted valuable time and resources […] and prevented the plaintiff from receiving evidence. “The plaintiffs are waiting for the trial.”

A very unusual case

R.Iivero noted that the judge’s “sanctions against Dr. Wright, apart from the fees, were liftedRivero has no estimate of how long the process could take because he believes the case was “very unusual”:

“Your guess is as good as mine because I saw this for the first time.”

Ira Kleiman, the brother of the late Dave Kleiman, claims half of the 1.1 million bitcoins that Dr. Wright and Dave Kleiman reportedly mined together as part of the Satoshi Nakamoto team.

According to Rivero, his client, Dr. Wright is still Satoshi Nakamoto, although many critics question him. John McAfee recently said that he was 99% certain that he knew the true identity of the author of the Bitcoin White Paper, suggesting that Dr. Wright could be part of the Satoshi Nakamoto team.
