Costa Rica crossed the line of 20,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus this Wednesday after registering nearly 600 new infections in the past 24 hours.
The Costa Rican Ministry of Health reported that 580 new infections were found on the last day, bringing the country’s balance to 20,417 cases.
In addition, Costa Rican health officials have reported that on the last day there were ten deaths from COVID-19 in the country, making a total of 191 deaths.
On the flip side, the Costa Rican Ministry of Health has highlighted that 6,851 people have managed to recover from the disease, but 388 remain in the hospital. One hundred of them are in intensive care.
