MADRID, May 3 (EUROPE PRESS) –

The global coronavirus pandemic has already left some 3,428,425 infections overall, and the number of deaths is 243,832, according to the balance sheet that American Johns Hopkins University updated this Sunday.

The United States is once again the global epicenter of the pandemic, with a growth rate of 30,000 cases per day and over 1,133,000 positive results. The death toll was 66,385, in New York alone 18,491.

This makes the United States by far the most affected country in the 187, when cases of Covid-19, the disease associated with the virus that occurred in the Chinese city of Wuhan in 2019, have been discovered.
