The Czech Republic and Slovakia saw an increase in cases with a total of 14,000 and 1,976 infections, respectively, after seeing how their positive results have increased in recent days.
The Czech Republic has confirmed the highest number of active cases of COVID-19 since April (4,705), as reported by the CTK chain. On Saturday, the Czech authorities confirmed 53 new cases after four days with more than 100 new infections.
The country’s previous high point was recorded last April when it was confirmed on 11/4/37. Although the number of cases is increasing, the virus has spread less easily in the Czech Republic than in other European countries.
The Czech region of Moravia-Silesia announced on Friday that the protective measures against the corona virus would be tightened, which was criticized.
