The Colombian Ministry of Health reported an increase of 6,678 new infections and 169 additional deaths this Sunday, for a total of 765,076 accumulated cases and 24,208 deaths.
The death toll this Sunday, 169, is slightly higher than the previous day when 153 deaths were recorded.
Authorities have so far confirmed 633,199 hospital discharges and 106,067 active cases. In return, he has detailed that nearly 3.4 million COVID-19 detection tests have been performed.
The city of Bogotá is the epicenter of the pandemic with 252,319 accumulated cases, while the departments of Antioquia follow with 103,915; Atlantic at 66,576; and Valle del Cauca with 57,244 confirmed positive results.
