Colombia exceeded 670,000 cases of COVID-19 this Monday after more than 5,000 more were diagnosed, while those who have died from the disease topped 21,600.
According to the balance published by the Ministry of Health of the Latin American country, health authorities have reviewed a total of 5,327 new positive results, bringing the global balance to 671,848 cases. Colombia has already recorded 21,615 deaths after 203 new deaths were confirmed in the past 24 hours.
By area, Bogotá remains the hardest hit, affecting a total of 227,979 cases. Behind are Atlántico with 65,111 and Valle del Cauca with 50,419.
In addition, the Colombian health authorities have reported that the number of those recovered has already reached 529,279, 11,050 new ones. However, 119,563 cases are still classified as active.
