Colombian health officials this Tuesday confirmed 165 new deaths from COVID-19, keeping deaths from the disease below 200 for the third day in a row.
The Colombian Ministry of Health recorded 190 deaths on Sunday and 199 on Monday. With the 165 deaths confirmed in the last 24 hours, the Latin American country has a total of 23,288 deaths from COVID-19.
On the other hand, the Colombian health authorities have diagnosed 6,698 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the global number to 728,590 infected people.
The majority of the positive results are still in Bogotá with 243,456 cases. Atlántico and Valle del Cauca are second and third with 66,038 and 54,395 respectively.
According to the country’s health ministry, 607,978 people in Colombia have managed to recover from COVID-19, 1,053 more in the past 24 hours. However, 95,787 cases are still active.
