Colombia extends preventive isolation until August 1st

Colombian President Iván Duque announced on Tuesday a new expansion of preventive isolation, this time until August 1, although he left open the possibility to make some measures to limit the regions least affected by COVID-19 more flexible.

In the daily television program “Prevention and Action”, which he directed, the Colombian president pointed out that, in coordination with the local authorities and within the framework of security protocols, restaurants and entertainment establishments such as restaurants, theaters or fitness studios in regions where the infection rate is stabilizing has or has decreased.
