The Colombian Ministry of Health confirmed more than 11,000 new coronavirus infections and more than 300 additional deaths from the disease this Sunday.
According to health authorities, 11,470 cases have been found in the last 24 hours. In addition, the additional 320 deaths have increased the worldwide number to 10,650 deaths in Colombia.
By region, Bogotá continues to be hardest hit by the Latin American pandemic, which accounts for 109,153 cases. Behind them are Atlántico with 53,835 and Valle del Cauca with 26,270.
In addition, the Colombian Ministry of Health has reported that 167,239 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the country, 6,531 more on the last day. In contrast, 139,097 cases remain active.
