Colombia already has nearly 695,000 cases of coronavirus after confirming nearly 8,000 more cases in the past 24 hours. This can be seen from the balance offered by the Ministry of Health of the Latin American country.
In particular, health officials have diagnosed 7,813 additional positive results, bringing the global number of COVID-19 cases in Colombia to 694,664.
In terms of deaths caused by the disease, the Colombian Ministry of Health has verified a total of 22,275, 222 more than the previous day.
By region, Bogotá is still hardest hit in Colombia with 234,514 infections. Behind are Atlántico with 65,525 and Valle del Cauca with 52,085.
Likewise, the Latin American country’s health authorities have indicated that 101,453 cases are still classified as active, while 569,479 people, 16,594 more in the past 24 hours, managed to recover from COVID-19.
